Prayer is essential to our Christian walk. Not only is it essential but a great privilege to be in communication with our Creator. So often we push aside prayer as if it were a secondary thought. Yet, we must understand that prayer is our lifeline. Jesus gave us a great example of that in Mark 1:35, "Very early in the morning, while it was still dark, Jesus got up, left the house and went off to a solitary place, where He prayed." Jesus knew He could not face another day without spending time with His Father and neither can we. Therefore, do what you were created for and pray.
